The premiere of the long-announced Volkswagen electric model ID.Buzz is slowly approaching, so there are more and more photos of this interesting novelty. In the latest set of paintings, its interior is also revealed.
As a reminder, the promotion is scheduled for March 9 this year, and it is a model that will also be made on Volkswagen’s MEB platform for electric cars.
Volkswagen ID.Buzz is expected to have 77/82 kWh batteries, while production, according to earlier information, will take place in factories in Germany and the United States.
Customers will be offered models with standard and extended wheelbase, but the latter will not be available before 2023. Both models will offer different seating layouts and interior configurations, but more information is yet to come.
This will be the first model from the ID series to be offered in passenger and delivery variants.
It should be reminded that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles confirmed last year that it will also offer an autonomous version of the ID.Buzz model.
Such a vehicle is called Volkswagen ID.Buzz AD (Autonomous Driving), and it will primarily be used to transport passengers in urban areas. The German manufacturer has not announced much information yet, but it has been announced that ID.Buzz AD will appear in 2025 and will have an autonomous driving system developed by Argo AI (among other things, it has a Lidar on the roof that can detect distant objects and more than 400 meters).
