The developers of the Styx series have announced their next game – Dracula: The Disciple, which they describe as a puzzlevania type of adventure.
New game Dracula: The Disciple will put us in the role of the guy who continues the work of Count Dracula.
It will be a first-person puzzle adventure, a so-called puzzlevania, which we will play as the French archivist Emile Valombres. He is diagnosed with a deadly disease, and he leaves in an attempt to treat it to Dracula’s castle and continues his research in order to cheat death by transforming into a vampire.
Although the theme of horror is often associated with Dracula, in this game it is clearly emphasized that there will be no horror but only mystery. Dracula’s castle is abandoned, and instead of fighting with enemies, we have to solve various puzzles here.
Dracula: The Disciple will thus “employ” us in the laboratory, engage in the cultivation of herbs and intrigue us to reveal the story of how Count Dracula became the most famous vampire in the world.
The game is announced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, currently without a release date.
