Interview with the Vampire TV Series, Cast

AMC has announced that it will begin filming the series “Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles”, based on the 1994 film of the same name.

The main role in the series will be played by Aussie actor Sam Reid, and he will play the legendary vampire Lestat. In the 1994 film, this role was once played by Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt as Louis, other casts are Antonio Banderas, Kirsten Dunst, Christian Slater, Thandiwe Newton, and more. The movie was nominated for two Academy Awards.

AMC also bought the rights to screen all the novels of the so-called “The Vampire Chronicles”, written by Anne Rice. The screenwriter, executive producer, and creator of the series is Rolin Jones, who worked on the planetarily popular series “Weeds”.

Besides Sam Reid, the cast for the new tv series The Vampire Chronicles is not known as of this writing.

Sam Reid’s acted in the tv drama The Hunting and Lambs of God, and the ITV detective series Prime Suspect 1973.

The release date for the first episode of The Vampire Chronicles tv series is still unknown. It is expected sometimes at the beginning of 2022. There will be eight episodes in the first season.
