One of the most successful models in the increasingly popular sports heritage segment, the Yamaha XSR900 has gained a lot of fans with its classic design, lively powertrain, solid components, and is especially loved by fans of redesigned machines.
Yamaha adhered to its philosophy during the creation of the new model, but at the same time tried to modernize the XSR900 with a new look, developed with an aluminum frame.
The result is a “cleaner”, straight-edged finish, inspired by Yamaha’s 1980s racing motorcycles. So the new Yamaha XSR900 has a minimalist look, with a powerful-looking fuel tank, while the panels are designed to simply encourage customers to develop their own version of this machine.
Yamaha has found inspiration for its bold new aesthetics in its own rich heritage, creating a modern version of the Deltabox chassis design. The Deltabox frame is lighter and stronger than the previous variant, and is designed to improve stability on the road without affecting agility.
That’s why the new 2022 Yamaha XSR900 motorcycle now brings more sporty dynamics while retaining some other features of its predecessor.

2022 Yamaha XSR900 Engine
The XSR900 uses the Yamaha MT-09 platform, while the heart of the new model is a powerful CP3 three-cylinder engine with a capacity of 889 cubic meters. Adapted to Euro5 emission regulations, the XSR900 is not only more powerful, but also less polluting compared to the previous variant. It offers 118.6 hp at 10,000 rpm and 93 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm. Of the available functions, there are traction control, SCS and cruise control.
We will also mention the “hidden” LED tail light, aluminum forged wheels, attractively shaped fuel tank, LED headlight and 3.5-inch TFT instrument panel.
