The Xbox platform may not be the most popular, but fans of the gaming world can get to know it even better through a six-episode documentary.
20 years ago, Microsoft entered the console market dominated by Sony and Nintendo. Despite many challenges, Xbox platform she managed to win the hearts of many players, and now on the occasion of her twentieth birthday, we can see how it all started.
Microsoft has released a documentary Power On: The Story of Xbox which takes us into the past through six episodes. Each of them covers one segment, so the first episode talks about how the idea for the console came about. Other episodes look back on things like the infamous red circle of death that was familiar to many Xbox 360 owners, and there is talk of the idea of buying Nintendo.
You can do all this completely watch for free, and leave us a comment on whether you’ve ever had an Xbox console. Although we are in 2021 and are slowly entering 2022, our premises are still not officially supported by Microsoft, but that does not mean that we are deprived of the green box and its exclusives.
