Today, from 11 p.m., there is a multi-platform presentation of new and upcoming games, Summer Game Fest, which is being held for the fourth year in a row.
Sony has done its State of Play, Xbox’s program is scheduled for Sunday, and today we have a central event called Summer Game Fest. The now traditional event, organized by Geoff Keighley, will be broadcast live tonight from 11 pm, with displays of new and upcoming games.
The program is slated to last around 120 minutes, but keep in mind that a good portion of that will be reserved for verbatim commercials and developer conversations. Unlike other presentations, SGF is designed as a more casual program where developers come on stage to announce and present their games first hand.
This year, the organizers managed to keep most of the surprises, but we still have a few confirmed games that will appear at SGF. We’ll see the premiere of gameplay for Star Wars: Zero Company, a new look at the ambitious Chinese game Blood Message, and an announcement of the next project from the creators of Guild Wars.
If you are interested in group commenting on everything that will be shown at Summer Game Fest, be sure to stop by the HCL Discord server.
