The driver of the large SUV did not see the low Lamborghini – so she ran over it

A bizarre traffic incident took place in a parking lot in the US state of Florida, where the driver of a raised Chevrolet Silverado pickup literally ran over a Lamborghini Huracán. According to the available information and the video on which the event was recorded, the luxury sports car was moving slowly looking for a free parking space at the time of the accident.

Ups…

The driver of the much taller and more massive SUV allegedly did not notice the low sports car in front of her at all. Due to the specific construction and height of the pickup truck, the front of the Lamborghini found itself in a blind spot, resulting in the Silverado’s front wheels going over the front and windshield of the Italian supercar – as if climbing a ramp.

Witnesses to the event state that the driver continued moving even after the initial contact, apparently unaware that there was another car under the wheels of her vehicle. Although the scenes from the scene looked dramatic, official reports confirm that no one was injured in this incident, but both vehicles sustained significant material damage – far greater, of course, on the Lamborghini.

The police conducted an investigation, and photos and videos of this incident immediately sparked discussions about the visibility of modern American SUVs and the dangers they pose in urban areas and in tight parking lots – both for pedestrians and cyclists, and, unexpectedly, for low supercars.
