The global Huawei Mate X7 teaser announces a major camera upgrade

Huawei released a global teaser for the release of the Mate X7 phone, making it clear that this model brings a bold step forward in the field of cameras. Ahead of the launch scheduled for December 11, the company is raising expectations by highlighting the superior photography capabilities of its new flip phone.

In the teaser announcement, Huawei points out that the Mate X7 brings a “revolutionary camera” with the message: “See the world as it is.” Thus, it announces more accurate colors, more details and faithful display of scenes in all conditions.

The Mate X7 brings a big leap in photo quality

The Chinese version of the device reveals what we can expect globally. The system consists of four advanced sensors: 50 MP main camera with variable aperture (in 10 steps), RYYB sensor and OIS stabilization, 40 MP ultra-wide camera (RYYB), 50 MP telephoto macro camera (RYYB, OIS) and a second-generation multispectral sensor for advanced video recording.

Huawei states that the main camera has an HDR range of 17.5 EV29, enabling excellent results in extremely bright light, without the effect of “burning” the frame, as well as rich details in dark parts of the scene. Thanks to improved sensitivity, it captures up to 31% more light, resulting in cleaner and sharper photos both day and night.

The Mate X7 also debuts new AI photo processing tools that allow you to process, preview and select the final result after shooting. The external screen provides users with a real-time display of facial expressions and movements, making it easier to take selfies and more complex compositions, reports HC Newsroom.
