New day, new stupidity from Croatian roads is spreading on social networks. As it often happens, a video has arrived on the Traffic Accidents and Accidents Facebook page dashcama from a car, which recorded a bizarre (but not rare) situation in front of him. Everything happened in Split, where the driver of the gray Mazda, as the main actor of the video, ran into an intersection where he has no right of way.
Ignoring the traffic sign with the express command “Intersection with the road with the right of way”, i.e. “inverted triangle”, without looking at the main road, he went out onto it – straight in front of the oncoming van from the left. Both vehicles then stopped, the situation also led to the stopping of other vehicles that came across the main road, but this did not hinder the “capable” driver of the Mazda. He simply put it in reverse, corrected the orientation of the vehicle and – after waiting for the van to move away – continued on his way.
The smarter man obviously gave in here, and luckily he didn’t enter the intersection where he has the advantage too fast, because this video would have ended more tragically.
