Amazon is reportedly interested in the God of War TV series

As things stand, Sony has shifted into fifth gear when it comes to cinema / TV adaptations of its franchises. Uncharted film has finally arrived, Ghost of Tsushima film as well as The Last of Us and Twisted Metal are in preparation. But that’s not all because, as Deadline states, Amazon is interested in a live action TV adaptation of the PlayStation hit God of War.

According to the information which Deadline At the disposal, negotiations between Amazon and Sony are already at an advanced stage, and the creators of Amazon’s hit series The Expanse, Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, are reportedly involved in the project. Also, screenwriter Rafe Judkins (Uncharted, The Wheel of Time) has his fingers in the project, while Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions will be involved in the production of the series.

God of War isn’t the only gaming franchise tied to Amazon Prime. This giant has been working on the Fallout TV series for some time, but it is also still far from its premiere.
