The dust isn’t settling on Sony’s plan to end support for PlayStation games on discs, so we have to ask fans: Do you feel betrayed?
When it became clear last year that most Xbox games were coming to PlayStation, we asked Xbox fans if they felt betrayed. Now there is unrest in the other camp, because of a different topic, but the question is the same.
As you already know, Sony has announced that PlayStation consoles will no longer receive new games on discs from 2028. Although we all knew it would happen, many are not ready to say goodbye to games on optical discs just yet. As expected, Sony’s announcement was met with a lot of negative comments – which are still prevalent on all their announcements.
Some even say that the online discussion on this topic has surpassed all other gaming discussions this year.
In order to contribute to this, we ask a question for the domestic audience: do you feel betrayed by this move by sony? Do you think he will change his mind?
