Resident Evil 4 is arguably the best-selling remake of this generation

According to the latest report, the remake of Resident Evil 4 has sold twice as much as any other remake this generation.

Numerous games in the last six years have received their own revisions. And quite a few of them recorded successful sales at the level of the original. However, one game topped them all, and that was Resident Evil 4.

According to a report by Alinea Analytics, 2023’s modern day Resident Evil 4 is estimated to have sold in the 16.8 million copies. Of this, the PlayStation 4 and 5 versions had a 47% share of sales, Steam had 43%, and Xbox 10%. Capcom’s title also had strong sales last year, when four million copies were sold thanks to a good discount.
