An ultra-brutal Nazi hunting game has been announced – Nekome: Nazi Hunter

A new action game has been announced that undoubtedly draws its inspiration from the movie The Inglorious Bastards, and puts us in the role of a young Roma who takes revenge on the Nazis.

In the film industry, the hunt for Nazis is almost inexhaustible material for new films. The sequel to the film Sisu was recently released, and the psychological drama The Housewife, based on a similar theme, has already been announced for next year.

In the world of video games, we have the Wolfenstein and Sniper Elite series, but few developers want to tackle the potential controversy that comes with such games. One of those few is the independent team Probably Monsters who have now announced a game called To someone: Nazi Hunter.

This is a single-player adventure from the third person, in which we take on the role of a young Roma called Van Nastasu. The plot is classic: Nazis massacre Van’s family, so he embarks on a revenge mission. At first it is Vano who is hunted by the Nazis, but over time he turns into a hunter who carries out brutal executions.

To some: Nazi Hunter is inspired by grindhouse movies and boasts a “symphony of violence”, which means this could be the Inglorious Basterds game we never got. However, don’t expect realistic graphics here as the visual style will be closer to Fortnite than Battlefield. But make no mistake – this will be it 18+ gamethat much is already clear.
