Heart Failure – Symptoms, causes, treatment

When heart failure occurs

Heart failure sounds like a condition in which the heart no longer works at all and nothing can be done when it happens. But in fact, it is a condition in which the heart does not pump as hard and well as it should. This condition is chronic and can progress over time due to lack of oxygen and blood in the cells of our body.

In this case, it is clear that the heart cannot keep up with what the body is asking of it. As a result, the heart can increase, ie its muscle mass can increase, and it can pump blood much harder and faster than usual.

There may be a narrowing of the blood vessels or the body drains blood from some tissues or organs such as the kidneys, so that enough blood reaches the heart and brain. The condition of heart failure worsens over time after the body can no longer cope in these ways. Heart failure due to obstruction it requires medical attention although the two conditions are often equated.
