The third game from the Remothered horror series was released this year and presented us with its plot set in Italy.
Remothered is a horror series that completely bypassed me. Inspired by the former Clock Tower, it debuted in 2018 with Remothered: Tormented Fathers, which garnered solid reviews. However, the sequel blew things up two years later (39 on Metacritic), so the announcement of the third game did not meet with much interest from players.
However, in the new trailer, things look intriguing for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy.
The game will take place in Italy and will follow the case of the disappearance of six girls. The protagonist of the game will be Susanthe mother of one of the missing girls, who, while investigating the case, finds herself drawn into a labyrinth of dark forces and supernatural phenomena.
Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy obećava nam “old-school horor” in which we will have to avoid opponents – hide from them and strike back at them only at critical moments. The game will rely on searching for key items, solving puzzles and using “hypnosis” to reveal forgotten memories.
The game is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2.
