Star Wars: Galactic Racer acts as BurnOut in a galaxy far, far away

The new race in the world of Star Wars is definitely in a hurry, so two months after the premiere of the game, we got a preview of the gameplay.

The publishing house Secret Mode is not secretive about its game Star Wars: Galactic Racer. Two months after the premiere reveal, we got a chance to see what actual racing looks like in the so-called Galactic League.

Given that the game comes from the former developers of BurnOut and Need for Speed, it’s no surprise that there are crashes and drama here. The game will have an accompanying mode with a story and cutscenes, and now we know the plot of the story itself.

So the plot revolves around a racing league in a lawless part of the galaxy, dominated by a sneaky and well-connected guy called Kestar Bool. In danger of losing control of the competition, league organizer Darius Pax enlists a pilot called Shade, who has a score to settle with Bool, to help him take down Kestar.

In addition to a more detailed description of the story, we got a glimpse of the gameplay and the cover of the game (top image), but there is still no release date. If nothing else, there is confirmation that there will be podracing, if you had any doubts.
