Although viewers’ reactions to the series are yet to come, Netflix has reportedly already given the green light for the production of the third season Devil May Cry. At least that’s what the portal MP1st reports, which heard that work on the third season has already started.
If the information is true, it’s another confirmation that Netflix has found success with animated series based on the game model. We had four seasons of Castlevania, three seasons of the DOTA series and two seasons of Arcane, and second seasons of animated series based on Cyberpunk and Splinter Cell are in the works.
The second season of Devil May Cry will be released on Netflix next Monday, 5/18.
