KTM’s “middleweight summer month” began with the launch of the new 890 Duke R motorcycle.
The 2022 edition comes with a brand new basic Atlantic Blue blue, taken directly from the KTM 1290 Super Duke R. The color is also reminiscent of that used on the KTM RC16 MotoGP machine.
However, the distinctive orange frame continues to offer a strange but perfect color contrast, which only an Austrian company can deliver.
First introduced in 2020, the KTM 890 Duke R continues to dominate the mid-range motorcycle segment.
Beneath the new paint is the famous parallel twin engine with a volume of 890 cubic meters, which boasts an impressive 121 hp and 99 Nm of maximum torque.
The KTM 890 Duke R remains a serious motorcycle, equally capable of dealing with winding curves on normal roads, but also on the race track.
Named the “Super Scalpel” for its extremely fast steering geometry, the KTM 890 Duke R still features a steel tubular chassis and adjustable WP Apex suspension.
The 890 Duke R is equipped with Brembo Stilema calipers, a 320 mm front disc and an adjustable Brembo MCS master brake cylinder.
There are also Michelin Power Cup 2 tires that provide reliable grip on any asphalt surface.

- 6D tilt angle sensor (rotate, tilt and turn)
- 4 driving modes (rain / street / sports and trail)
- Adjustable tilt control tilt
- Gas control settings
- As always, the entire KTM PowerParts range has been developed so that owners can personalize the 890 Duke R.
