Encanto Plot
“Mirabel is a really fun and loving character who also deeply wants something more,” Beatriz said. “She’s also not afraid to stand up for what she knows is right, something I love and call for a lot,” Beatriz said. “I am a Colombian on my father’s side and playing this role fills me with immense pride,” Beatriz continues. “As a kid from Disney, I burned my VHS tapes and I loved every magical story the Disney world presented to me. In these stories, I learned that anything is possible, especially if you believe in magic and goodness rooted deep within us all.
The magic of Encanta blesses every child in the family with a unique gift, from super strength to the power of healing, every child except one, Mirabel Madrigal. But when she discovers that the magic around Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, maybe the last hope of her exceptional family.
Even the house is filled with magic. It changes following the events of everyday life.
Although seemingly accepting her normalcy, this Colombian family seems unable to get rid of the idea that Mirabelle is not as “special” as everyone else.
Encanto movie Songs
The new trailer includes the original song from the film, “Colombia, Mi Encanto,” starring 17-time Grammy and Latin Grammy winner, singer, songwriter, and actor Carlos Vives, originally from Santa Marta, Colombia. “This song is a celebration of the magical diversity of Colombia,” Vives said. “I can’t wait to see how the music will merge with the images and characters inspired by Colombian magic.”
The film includes new songs by Emmy, GRAMMY and Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana), and is directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, co-directed by Charise Castro Smith (screenwriter of Death of Eve Sofia Sophia Valdez ) and produced by Clark Spencer and Yvett Merino. The screenplay was written by Bush and Castro Smith. The filmmakers were deeply inspired by a research trip to Colombia during the early developmental stages of Charm, as well as their ongoing work with a group of expert advisors gathered during film production.
The brand new original film features the voice of Stephanie Beatriz like Mirabel, a normal XNUMX-year-old struggling to find her place in her family.
