A free guide to installing EV charging stations in building garages has been published

After semi-information about the installation of chargers for electric cars in the garages of residential buildings was impossible or illegal in the media, and they made a public statement about it, the national association e-Mobility has now taken a step further. They published a new guide, which explains in a simple and clear way the entire process of setting up an EV charging station in apartment buildings, from the first step to the final implementation and maintenance.

Free, with registration

This free guide provides all the key information: what to check at the beginning, what documentation and permits are required, how to communicate with co-owners and the building manager, and what to pay attention to in technical solutions to avoid potential problems in the future. We probably won’t reveal anything new to you if we mention that the guide states that it takes an average of six to nine months to introduce a charger in a legal and procedurally prescribed manner, in seven steps.

The entire guide with step-by-step instructions, including a flow chart and recommendations at each step, is available completely free of charge on the association’s website. The only thing they ask for in return is the support of users through free membership in the association – since hundreds of hours of research into legal frameworks and communication with competent institutions were invested in the creation, say the e-Mobility association. For anyone interested, the link to the association and their practical guide is here.
