According to new information from the industry, the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series could make a big technological leap and bring a much more advanced version of this feature.
According to the well-known tipster yeux1122, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models could become the first smartphones in the world with support for so-called 5G satellite communication. Although additional technical details have not yet been revealed, the announcement itself suggests a significant change in the way of connecting to the network.

Unlike the current satellite function on iPhones, which only allows sending short messages or emergency calls, a 5G satellite connection could offer significantly higher speeds.
