New content for Resident Evil Requiem is coming next week


Capcom told Resident Evil Requiem players to finish playing the game by the end of this week in order to access the new mode.

News came from Capcom that a “mini-game” was promised for Resident Evil Requiem near the end of development. And it could be launched as early as next week.

Namely, it has been confirmed that additional content will be unlocked for players who have completed the game itself at least once. Capcom has so subtly said that now is the ideal time for players to finish Requiem in order to be ready for the new content.

They also revealed that the addition to the game will focus on the action part of Resident Evil, which hints at potential return of the Mercenaries mod.

The promised mini-game is the first of two announced contents that will be added to Resident Evil Requiem later. The second is the expansion of the story, that is, the expansion that will be paid for.

By the way, Capcom has revealed that Requiem has so far sold more than seven million copiesand is currently the best-selling new game in 2026.
