The Adams family is back! And here is a trailer for the sequel to the animated film “The Addams Family 2”.
This unusual family has gained cult status since its first premiere. It was created by comic book artist Charles Addams in 1938. After its popularity, the first TV series from 1964 to 1966 was recorded on the ABC channel.
After that, NBC aired an animated series in 1973 and received a film adaptation in 1991 and 1993, signed by Barry Sonnenfeld. In 1998, Dave Payne made another film.
The last adaptation that saw the day was the animated movie from 2019. It features Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2, Madagascar 3) and Greg Tiernan (Sausage Party) produced by Universal Studios. Critics were divided but the 24 million movie box office at the World Box Office grossed $203 million, so it was clear that a sequel to this animated film would also appear.
The Addams Family 2 Plot
Everyone’s favorite spooky family is back in the sequel to the animated comedy, “The Adams Family 2”. In the new animated movie, we find the distraught parents of Mortis and Gomez because their children are no longer small, they skip family dinners and are completely preoccupied with “screaming time”. In order to regain their closeness, they decide to put Wednesday, Pagsli, Uncle Fester, and the crew in their haunted camper and go on their last miserable family vacation. Their adventure across America pulls them out of their style with hilarious situations with their cult cousin THINGS, as well as many new weird characters. What could go wrong?
In the original film, the main protagonists are voiced by: Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, Wallace Shawn, with Snoop Dogg as ‘It’, Bette Midler, and Bill Hader.
