At the beginning of next month, a new shooter, Better Than Dead, will be released, which brings shooting in photorealistic locations inspired by Hong Kong.
A few of those bodycam shooters have already come out, with a camera view on the body and an aesthetic that looks like a realistic shot in a lower quality display. And although such a prospect makes some players nauseous, there is clearly a niche that various developers are counting on. And among them the developers of the upcoming game Better Than Dead.
That shooter is coming to Steam 12. 5.and brings a blast through urban locations inspired by Hong Kong. Its action will take place mainly in closed spaces with a bunch of things that can be destroyed, and the goal will be simple – you need to finish the level by eliminating all opponents before they eliminate us. Gameplay will rely on quick reflexes and won’t leave much room for mistakes.
Better Than Dead will be a single-player game and will first be launched as an early access title. Further development of the game is expected to take 6-12 months.
