The new Chinese game Blood Message looks like an epic spectacle, but are there any real graphics?

The action adventure Blood Message once again showed impressive scenes, but also opened the question: does it have anything to do with what we will actually play?

When we saw it for the first time at the end of last year Blood Messagethat Chinese adventure looked very ambitious and attractive to us. Nothing has changed in the second rendering of the game either – the game still looks impressive, but at a level that makes us wonder how much of it is actually the actual gameplay, and how much of it is just staged scenes.

It’s hard to judge without any comment. At times we see several scenes that could pass as gameplay, but the quality of the cutscenes themselves stand out as something we might expect to see on the next generation of hardware.

In any case, here’s the video so you can judge for yourself:

If you’re hearing about Blood Message for the first time, it’s a single-player action adventure from the creators of Narak: Bladepoint. The game is set in the late Tang Dynasty, 848 AD, and players take on the role of a nameless messenger who embarks on a disastrous journey to the east to deliver a message that will decide the fate of his homeland.
