After numerous rumors, a couple of leagues and our first news today regarding the announcement of Multiversus, this rumors has become a reality. Warner Bros Games and game director Tony Huynh from Player First Games have announced that Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Arya Stark will be free to play for Xbox and PlaySttaion consoles, as well as a PC.
What is MultiVersus
As announced, Multiversus is a platform fighting game similar to PlayStation All Stars and, even better, Super Smash Bros, and brings a large number of characters from various series, cartoons and comics. The battle format is 2vs2, and cross play has been announced, as well as a great emphasis on the cooperation of two players, merging special moves and developing an additional strategy with regard to the characters you have and what powers they have. Whether it’s rescuing a colleague from falling off the platform with Wonder Woman’s hair, or making someone momentarily invisible with a special Batman tool, Multiversus brings a lot of possibilities.
What games can we play with for free
Among the characters confirmed at the moment are Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Wonder woman, Arya Stark from Game of Throes, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Scooby Do’s friend Shaggy, Jake the Dog and Finn the Human from Adventure Time, Steven Universe and Garnet from Steven Univers, and one original character named Reindog.
It is worth mentioning the quality and detailed production of the game, so they are engaged for the voices of Kevin Conroy (who, of course, gives the voice to Batman), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), John Dimaggio (Jake the Dog) and Matthew Lillard as Shaggy.

Release Date of MultiVersus games
The release date is not yet known, but applications for beta testing have started, which could definitely start soon. We’ve already seen a lot in this video which you can watch below, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the game comes in just a few months. Most likely in the beginning of 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC.
