Due to the ongoing covid crisis, new screening dates for Top Gun: Maverick are May 27, 2022, while “Mission Impossible 7 ” on July 14, 2023, and June 28, 2024, for the “Mission: Impossible 8” (United States). Why is that when the current situation regarding Covid 19 is much better than before in world cinemas?
It is better, but it is still far from normal. These are two big blockbusters of famous film franchises in which the indestructible Tom Crusie plays the main role. Paramount and Skydance want as many viewers as possible to watch the film in cinemas in order to get their money back and make money on the mentioned films. All we have to do is be patient before we watch these two films.

Besides Tom Cruise as Maverick, although not seen in the trailer, Val Kilmer (The Doors, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) will return to his original role as Iceman while Miles Teller (Whiplash, War Dogs) will be Goose’s son and Jennifer Connelly will be the film’s central female character.

Top Gun: Maverick Plot
The plot of the film takes place in today’s modern age, in which fifth-generation fighter planes and drones rule, where there is no place for aerial duels of skilled pilots. Maverick is a pilot legend who wants to prove that soldiers like him are not defeated. While there aren’t too many arguments for it, to prove it he takes under his wing as a young recruit’s flight instructor, and that’s Bradley Bradshaw, the son of his best friend and pilot who died in the first part of the film, Nick “Goose” Bradshaw.
